Dedication to quality defines our operations. We have the highest standards for filling and delivering orders. Our quality procedures include control of documents, records and non-conforming products; corrective and preventive actions; and internal quality audits. Twenty Hisco locations are ISO 9001:2000 certified; all practice ISO principles.

Hisco’s quality system describes the overall structure in relation to the requirements of ISO 9001: 2000. This system is dynamic rather than static and is designed to improve as needed in order to achieve our company mission and meet the needs of our customers.

What is ISO 9001:2008?

The objective of the Standard is to provide requirements where an organization can demonstrate its ability to consistently provide product that meets customers’ requirements with aim of enhancing customer satisfaction.
A Standard should provide a uniform and predictable output every time controlled processes or procedures are executed.
Standards in and of themselves do not necessarily produce a “quality” process or product.
ISO 9000 is a series of 3 Quality System Standards: 9000, 9001 & 900

Statement of Quality Objectives

At Hisco we believe that Prevention, Continuous Improvement, Well Trained Employees, and Controlled Processes are the keys to establishing and maintaining Total Customer Satisfaction.

Each employee at Hisco is trained in the procedures and methods detailed in our Quality System and are empowered to use their training to ensure that both internal and external customers are satisfied.

Hisco is committed to implementing and continually improving the effectiveness of the quality system detailed in the Quality System Requirements ISO 9001: 2000. In the event the quality objectives are not realized, corrective action is taken.

Because this Quality Policy forms the basis for the implementation of the quality system at Hisco, management assures that this policy is understood, implemented and maintained at all levels of the organization.
